TransCanada Pipelines' Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Project
TransCanada Pipelines' proposed Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Project would see construction of an 850 km, 48-inch diameter pipeline, from near Hudson's Hope to feed the proposed Pacific Northwest LNG plant at Lelu Island (Port Edward). TransCanada Pipelines is the company involved in the Keystone XL project and the Energy East project - both of which involve converting existing natural gas pipelines to service for transporting oil. The company also has an alarming record for natural gas pipeline explosions. Click here.
